Stop Punishing Stay-at-Home Mothers!
Across Australia, families are being told that one choice is worth supporting — and another isn't. If a mother goes out to work, the government helps pay for her childcare. If she chooses to stay home and raise her own children, she gets nothing. Worse, her family is taxed more heavily for making that choice.
This is not fair, and it is not neutral. Every mother should have the freedom to raise her own children without being financially punished for it.
We don't believe a mother should ever be made to feel that staying home with her children is a financial burden her family cannot afford.
Sign the petition and tell the Government: stop punishing mothers who choose to raise their own children.
Yes, I'll sign this petition
Dear Treasurer Chalmers,
No mother should be punished for choosing to raise her own children. I call on you to fix our tax and welfare system so that families who choose to have the mother at home are treated fairly, not penalised.
Respect the choice to raise your own children — stop punishing stay-at-home mothers!
With concerned regards,
