Stop Funding The Line!

The Australian Government is spending over $19 million per year of taxpayers' money on a website directed at children as young as 14 that teaches them that virginity is a "harmful construct", that sex outside of marriage is healthy and normal, that experimenting with same-sex acts is a valid reason to become sexually active, and that there are "many more genders" than male and female. The site even makes the factually incorrect claim that contraception is the "safest and cheapest" way to avoid pregnancy and STIs — ignoring that abstinence costs nothing and carries a 100% success rate.

The Line is not a neutral health resource. It is an ideologically driven campaign that directly contradicts the beliefs of millions of Australian families. It has no place in our schools, and it should not receive a single dollar of public funding.
