Allow treatments that recognise biological reality!

State anti-conversion laws around Australia could lead parents to face up to 10 years in prison if they try to help their gender confused child or a child with a homosexual inclination seek treatment that aligns with biological reality and Christian teaching. These laws mandate that the only treatment parents and doctors can use has to align with radical gender ideology. If a child believes they are the opposite sex, then the only treatment they are allowed to receive is one that affirms their confusion.

Until recently, the medical community recognised Gender Identity Disorder as a psychological disorder, because the mind should align with reality. We see Body Integrity Identity Disorder, where one believes one has a physical disability even though they are physically healthy, as a psychological disorder. Treatment involves bringing the mind into line with reality. The same attitude applies to delusional disorders; the mind should conform to reality rather than trying to change reality to suit delusional perceptions.

Gender confusion in children should follow the same principle, rather than being criminalised to appease trans activists.
